Michele E. Lambert, passed away peacefully at her home on June 15th, 2017 surrounded by loved ones, and her loyal dog, Girlfriend.

Born October 8, 1956 in Chateauroux, France. She was the beloved daughter of the late Roy J. Lambert and Ginette E. Legler. Sister of Michael Lee Hall, the late Edward Lee Hall, III and Mary Hawthorne. Godmother to Elliot Sholtz Munoz.

Michele was blessed to have a team of loving caregivers who selflessly took care of her every need during her battle with lung cancer. These friends include: Stan Sholtz, Luis Munoz, Karen Stall, Terry Olivier, Stacy Mabile, David Murdock, Debra del Rio, Zoila Aguilar, Arlena Morris, Gaylan Harris, Helena Le Beau, Mary Pappas, and lifelong friend Maggie Prestridge.

Michele has always had a natural ability to paint. She studied Fine Arts at the University of New Orleans where she received her BFA.
She was featured in a segment of Sally Ann Roberts Quiet Hero series, spotlighting her acclaimed painting "I Cry for My City Today".

A private burial will be on Saturday morning, July 1st followed by a Memorial Service to celebrate her life, open to friends and family, 1-4 pm at the Parkview Terrace, in City Park.
