PATRICK FINLEY LEE

Patrick Finley Lee passed away at West Jefferson Medical Center on November 9, 2018.  He was 66 years old.  He was the son of the late Calvin Paul "Chuck" Lee and the late Audrey Morgan Lee.  He was born in New Orleans, LA on March 5, 1952 and lived in Old Metairie throughout his childhood and teenage years.  He was a graduate of St. Catherine of Siena Grammar School,  Archbishop Rummel High School, Tulane University and Loyola Law School.  He also attended Pace University in New York City.  He practiced law in New Orleans, was Vice-President and Director of Operations at Isola Designs in Los Angeles, CA and, upon his return to New Orleans, resumed the practice of law.  Pat's early passion for theater, including many performances at Rummel High School, Nord Theater, Tulane Summer Lyric Theater and others, continued into his adulthood.  He co-produced several cabaret shows at Le Chat Noir, co-produced a cabaret show at The Blue Room and produced a Katrina Fundraiser show benefiting New Orleans artists that starred Broadway legend Tommy Tune.  He was a main participant in the restoration of the Washington Park fountain and bench in honor of AIDS victims and started the Andy Kruzich Memorial AIDS fund.  He is survived by his sister Sharon Lee Laird, his brother-in-law Joe Laird, nieces Morgan Lee Laird, Allie Greco, Phyllia Greco, as well as loving cousins and lifelong friends.  A memorial social gathering in his honor will be held at a private residence at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greater New Orleans Foundation which oversees the Andy Kruzich Memorial AIDS Fund, 919 St. Charles Ave, New Orleans, LA 70130.
