Nicholas Joseph LaMothe Sr. passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the age of 59. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Kenner, LA. Devoted husband of Jeanne Melancon LaMothe. Loving father to Nicholas J. LaMothe Jr. (Adrianna) and Brent Smith (Sherey Ann). Caring grandfather of Emma, Katelyn, Arissa and Kenzie LaMothe. Son of the late Nicholas LaMothe Jr. and Marguerite LaMothe. Brother of Tamara LaMothe Eugene, Michael LaMothe Sr., David LaMothe, Marguerite LaMothe Verdesoto, Maria LaMothe Duplessis (Terry), Christopher LaMothe (Theresa), and the late Herman LaMothe III (Dorothy). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relative and friends are invited to attend the a Memorial Gathering at Tharp Sontheimer Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. Metairie, on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m.
