Michael Scorcia

Michael Scorcia passed away on November 6, 2023 at the age 75. Beloved husband of Nancy Bellucci Scorcia. Son of the late Joseph Scorcia and Yvonne McCarthy Scorcia. Brother of Joseph, Thomas, Henry, Maria, Jeannette. Father of Yvonne Scorcia, Jennifer Pasquinelli, and Joe Scorcia. Grandfather of Lauren, Autumn, Amber, Julian and Emile. Michael spent his life bringing laughter to his family, friends and strangers alike. His priority was always his family. He loved classic movies, great music and good times. A native of Brooklyn, NY, Michael raised his children in Queens and relocated New Orleans with Nancy where they have lived happily for the past 20 years. Michael, or Mikey as he was known by so many, has dedicated the last few years to his position as a Security Enforcement Officer. There he proudly ensured the safety of his charges but more importantly, made them laugh.
