Dr Leona Bersadsky

Dr. Leona Bersadsky died on October 21, 2018 peacefully at her residence in New Orleans after a long battle with heart disease. Daughter of the late Louis and Rebecca Bersadsky. Sister of the late Luba Bersadsky Glade (late Leonard) and Shirley Bersadsky Goldman (late Bernard). She is reunited for eternity with her longtime companion Dr. Dorothy Bratsas. She is survived by her loving nephews Dr. Louis Glade (Janie), Eddie Bronston, Ben Bronston (Mickey), Dr. Leonard Glade, Jan Glade (Nan), nieces Robin Bronston and Suzanne Glade (Robert Miller) and many great nieces and nephews. Dr. Bersadsky was a practicing psychiatrist in New Orleans for over 40 years and was devoted to her work. She loved traveling the world with Dorothy, spending evenings with their friends and Johnny Walker Black with one ice cube. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Graveside Service with be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Hebrew Rest #3 Cemetery, (corner Frenchmen and Pelopidas). Rabbi Edward Cohn officiating.
