Joseph Anthony Lambert

Joseph Anthony Lambert, age 78, born on January 19, 1945 and passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023. He was a life long resident of Harahan, LA and a parishioner of St. Rita Catholic Church. Son of the late Joseph Lambert and Marguerite Vicknair. Brother of Rubie Anderson, Janet McGovern, Pearl Montgomery, Dianne Dupre, George Lambert, Jerry Lambert, and the late Margaret Hegwood, Ethel Barousse and Paul M., John J., Charles J. and Raymond F. Lambert. He is reuniting with nieces and nephews and is survived by nieces and nephews.
Joseph loved to work on old cars and watch the news. He never missed the news, always preached about the news. He was a very generous man, always available to help anyone and everyone. Most importantly, he loved all his nieces and nephews as if they were his grandkids.
Family and friend are invited to attend a Visitation at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd., Metairie, LA 70001 followed by a Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery. For condolences, visit www.tharpcares.com.
