José Luis Fernández entro a la gloria de Dios el Jueves, 24 de Noviembre del 2022 a la edad de 47 años. José era el esposo devoto de Wendy S. Fernández. Amado padre de Sarah S. Fernández. Atesorado hijo de Rosa Maria Fernandez y Rogelio Fernandez. Querido hermano de Janaise Valdez (José), Rogelio Fernández (Traci), y Miosotis Fernandez. Tío adorado de de Kristie, Amy, y Natalie Valdez; Zachary y Zoe Fernández; Yormis e Yanais. Tío abuelo de Skylar Valdez; Emry Banks; Bella, Aubree y Noah Fernández.
Tito, como se le decía por cariño, amaba muchísimo con todo su corazón y vida a toda su familia. Era miembro de la Iglesia Bautista Hispana Emmanuel. Su Pastor era David Lema, Sr. A una temprana edad el acepto al Señor como su único salvador. José Luis amaba a toda su familia de Dios, amistades, y todas las personas que Dios le puso en su vida. El era querido por todos. También amaba a los animalitos. El le traía alegria a todos con su bello carácter y lo hacía a uno reír. Tito se graduó de Ingeniero Eléctrico con honores de la universidad de Delgado. Establecio la compañía Fernandez Electric, LLC. Siempre hacía con orgullo su trabajo como electricista y lo hacía a la perfección. El será grandemente extrañado por su esposa, hija, familia, amistades, y por todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerle.
Familiares y amistades están cordialmente invitados a atender la visitación el Sábado, 3 de Diciembre del 2022, Comenzando la visitación a las 11:00 a.m. hasta la 1:00 p.m. Seguido por un servicio fúnebre a la 1:00 p.m. en la funeraria Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. Metairie. El entierro será en el cementerio Garden of Memories, Metairie. 

José Luis Fernández entered the glory of God on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at the age of 47. José was the devoted husband of Wendy S. Fernández. Loving father of Sarah S. Fernandez. Treasured son of Rosa Maria Fernandez and Rogelio Fernandez. Dear brother of Janaise Valdez (José), Rogelio Fernández (Traci), and Miosotis Fernandez. Loving uncle of Kristie, Amy, and Natalie Valdez; Zachary and Zoe Fernandez; Yormis and Yanais. Skylar Valdez's great-uncle; Emry Banks; Bella, Aubree and Noah Fernandez.

Tito, as he was called out of affection, loved his entire family very much with all his heart and life. He was a member of the Emmanuel Hispanic Baptist Church. His Pastor was David Lema, Sr. At an early age he accepted the Lord as his only savior. José Luis loved all his family of God, friends, and all the people that God put in his life. He was loved by all. He also loved animals. He brought joy to everyone with his beautiful character and made one laugh. Tito graduated as an Electrical Engineer with honors from Delgado University. He established the company Fernandez Electric, LLC. He always did his job as an electrician with pride and did it perfectly. He will be greatly missed by his wife, daughter, family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Saturday, December 3, 2022, with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. Metairie. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive.
