Donald Stewart

Donald (Duck) Stewart began his life September 30, 1962, and went into eternal rest January 21, 2023. Donald was the son of Warren Sr. and Nathalie Rixner. He was the second of five children. He attended McDonogh #24 Elementary School, Alfred C Priestly Middle School, and Alcee Fortier Senior High School.

Donald began working early in his life as a paper boy, delivering papers for the Times Picayune and States-Item newspaper companies. He was also a plumber's helper.

Eventually, he worked with his father as a janitor. He remained employed at Bruno's Tavern in New Orleans until his demise.

Donald was a kind, loving brother who loved to keep busy. He loved hanging out with his buddies and could always make you laugh. He loved football and was a dedicated New Orleans Saints Football fan. When he was not with his family or friends, you could find him at Audubon Park, which was his favorite spot.

Donald was preceded in death by his father Warren Richer, St, Mother Nathalie Rixner, and Sister Linda Ann Richer.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved brother Tyrone Stewart, his loving sister Charlene Rixner, and his devoted baby brother Warren Rixner, Ir. Donald also leaves his memories with a host of cousins, one niece, and his lifelong friend and employer, Mr. David Melius.
