Claire Marie Boyer

Claire Marie Boyer, age 88, of Metairie, LA, passed away December 28, 2018. She was born on February 13, 1930. Daughter of the late Edward Charles Boyer and Fannie Pecot Boyer. Sister of the late Helen Tolson (late Walter). Aunt of the late Wayne Tolson and the late Craig Tolson (Shelley Engelhardt Tolson). Great Aunt of Brooke Poirier Marchand (Clay) and their children; Ily and Emry. Also survived by her close family friend Brenda Robin. Claire was an employee of Tulane University for over 30 years and was a 1949 graduate of Sophie B. Wright High School. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service at All Saints Mausoleum, 5100 Pontchatrain Blvd on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 11:00 am. Arrangements by Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. In lieu of flowers, her wishes were for donations to the New Orleans Children’s Hospital or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
