Charlen Elizabeth Womack

Charlen Hill Womack, age 82, of New Orleans, LA, passed away on August 12, 2023 at her home. Charlen was born on November 7, 1940 to parents, Captain Charles E. Hill and Eva Mae Cathcart.
Charlen was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. She graduated from Ridgewood Prepatory High School. She attended the University of Miami, where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She was a longtime member of St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church in Metairie, LA where she was heavily involved in the Church’s ministries. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is predeceased by her parents, her brother, Scott Cathcart Hill and her husband of 30 years, Jerry Don Womack. 
Mother of Brett Resseguet Jenkins(Scott), Renee Resseguet Verver(Bob), Danielle Resseguet, and the late Michelle Resseguet Keiser(Randy). Grandmother of Jay and Charles Jenkins, Kendall, Kaylynn and Kolbie Keiser, and Bailey Schehr.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church, 3412 Haring Rd.
