Albert George Wagner passed away peacefully at his home on Friday morning, June 8, 2018 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 53 years old and a native and resident of New Orleans. Longtime partner of Oscar M. Godoy. Brother of Wanda Wagner Swede (Ron). Uncle of Philip Swede and Rebekah Swede. Son of the late August and Marie “Mickey” Kratzberg Wagner. Al was a talented artist, and graduated with a degree in Art from Tulane University, where he was a proud member of Tau Epsilon Phi. He spent 10 years at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. When he returned to New Orleans, he ventured in to the proprietorship of several art galleries throughout the city.
